My Top Products For Glowy Skin

The sun is finally making an appearance now and even though it’s not actually out while I’m writing this, I’m looking forward to summer now. In light of the new weather I’ve decided to share my favourite products to add a bit of glow to your skin and look like a glowy goddess.

I’ve been researching skincare a lot lately, as I’m a firm believer in looking after the skin you have as best you can. It’s your canvas and with a great canvas you can enhance what you already have instead of covering it up. I’ve added a couple of products into my routine that are super nourishing and give me a lovely, luminous look to my skin. I think the product that has made the biggest difference to my skin is the Lyonsleaf Marshmallow Soften & Rejuvenate Facial Oil *. I’d heard nothing but good things about this and it didn’t disappoint. The smell is a bit whiffy to me but the affect it has on my skin is amazing, so I just ignore the smell whenever I apply it – it wears off after a few minutes anyway! It’s so moisturising and I like to apply this in the morning, under my moisturiser to add a nice sheen to my face, without looking oily. By adding my normal moisturiser afterwards it ensures that I’m not left looking like an oil slick, but my face has a glow to it.

At night I’ve added in a couple of new products. The first being The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA. I was a bit weary of this at first and made sure to build up the usage slowly over a few weeks, but now I slap it all over my face every other night. It’s a great chemical exfoliant that evens out both the texture and skin tone of my face. I always wake up to noticeably brighter skin and my redness pretty much disappears. I always use the Kimberly Sayer Ultra Light Organic Facial Moisturiser SPF 30 * in the morning but if you don’t use an SPF as standard, you’ll want to add one to your routine the morning after using this because your skin will be more prone to sun damage. On the nights when I don’t use Lactic Acid I reach for FOM London Hydra Bright Night Complex Treatment * and Weleda Almond Face Cream *. After receiving the Hydra Bright Night Complex Treatment in March’s Love Lula Beauty Box I completely fell in love. I’m gutted that I love it so much though, as the full size is £79(!) but if they ever come on offer you can be sure that I’ll be snapping that baby up! Once I’ve applied this I then smother Weleda’s Almond Soothing Facial Cream all over my face. I absolutely adore this moisturiser, as it’s the perfect consistency – not too runny but not too thick either. It leaves my skin feeling the softest it’s been in weeks. The combination of these two leaves me with smooth, shiny skin come morning that makes me feel like an absolute goddess! These are miracle workers at their finest.

On to make up now and as I’ve been so invested in my skincare I haven’t needed to use that much make up at all. One product I have been loving though is the MOSSA Skin Perfector BB Nude Tinting Moisturiser *. This tinted moisturiser is lightweight so it lets your skin show through, but it still gives a bit of coverage. If you do have any blemishes you’ll want to use a concealer too, but for good skin days this is a dream as it creates a great dewy look. It’s a tad too dark for my skin tone, but I find that I can get away with it with a little bronzer down my neck. Speaking of which I’ve been loving the Ere Perez Rice Powder Blush & Bronzer in Roma * to add a bit of colour to my face. I have the shade Roma which is a good bronzer shade for me, as it’s not too dark.

Having naturally dry skin, I find it quite hard to make my skin look radiant but I think I’ve finally found a solution. I’ve been so impressed by how all these products have affected my skin and feel like I’m onto a real winner here – hence why I thought I’d share my findings with you guys. I mean who doesn’t love to have healthy, glowing skin in the summer?!

What are your favourite products for glowing skin?
