June Monthly Musings

June has been a busy month for me. It’s always typical that you don’t have anything planned for months and then everything comes along at once! Also, I know it’s a little early this month, but I have an exciting post coming at you in the first week of July with some exciting blog news 🙂 . Without further ado, here are some of my highlights.

Weleda Insight Day

First of all I went to my first blogger event! I was so excited and the day definitely didn’t disappoint. You can read about the whole day in this post, but to summarise it was amazing! We had a tour of the gardens where the plants for Weleda’s medicines are grown in the morning and in the afternoon we had a few talks about the brand and products. Jayn Sterland talked to us about Weleda’s Cleaner Beauty campaign and we also got to try out some body oils. It was such a great day and I hope I get to visit again soon.

Wedding Dress Shopping

I finally went wedding dress shopping, after being forced into it by my bridesmaid! I know, the wedding isn’t until next October but you can never be too organised right?! We actually went to 2 different shops this month and I must admit I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It was really nice trying on lots of different styles and colours (I tried on a gorgeous lilac dress, but alas it would of clashed with our colour scheme!) and it was great to have my mum and bridesmaid there for extra help in the decision making. There’s so much pressure on brides to be perfect and I have to admit I was definitely feeling the pressure beforehand – that’s probably why I wasn’t very excited about trying dresses on before. But it has put my mind at ease and I didn’t look as terrible as I thought I would. In fact, I’ve said Yes to the Dress and have already ordered it!

Elder Scrolls VI Annoucement!

As a little extra I wanted to mention how excited I was when The Edler Scrolls VI was announced at E3 at the start of the month. Skyrim is one of my favourite games and it’s been 7 years since it was released. Even though it will probably be another 3 years or so for the sixth installment, at least we know it’s definitely in the works now. And I most definitely didn’t* go out and buy the remastered Skyrim for Xbox One and started it all over again in light of this!

What have you guys been up to this month?
