Discovering New Skincare With CHOBS / AD

CHOBS Skincare

This post contains gifted items from Love Lula which have been marked with *. The company has provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

At the beginning of the month I was offered to try some CHOBS products from Love Lula. I’ve not tried anything from them before but I’d heard good things so I accepted. I was expecting some sheet masks to turn up, as that’s what CHOBS seem to be known for, so I was pleasantly surprised when the Organic Moringa Toner * and Organic Moringa Total Cream * turned up instead. I do like a good sheet mask, but hate that you can only use them once so this was a nice surprise.

CHOBS stands for Charm & Health Organic Beauty Store and are a cruelty free, vegan and natural skincare brand. They are based in South Korea and are COSMOS and Vegan Society certified. Korean Beauty is a big thing at the moment, so it’s nice to have a natural and organic Korean beauty brand to try.

CHOBS Moringa Toner

CHOBS Organic Moringa Toner * – £28.00

My skin is loving this! I’ve been using it morning and night and my skin has had a massive improvement. I have switched up a few products this month, so I can’t credit this 100% for the change in my skin, but this has definitely been helping. It includes moringa extract to help reduce inflammation, damask rose water to condition the skin and lavender extract to retain moisture, amongst other natural ingredients. Since using this my skin has been softer and much calmer – I suffer with redness quite a bit and it’s been much better since I’ve been using this. I find it really refreshing to swipe over my face once I’ve cleansed it and it removes any excess cleanser that’s been left behind too. It provides a nice, even base for my other products to be applied to and helps them sink in better too.

CHOBS Moringa Cream

CHOBS Organic Moringa Total Cream * – £49.00

I’ve been using the moisturiser as my night cream every night before bed. It contains moringa too (of course) which has several benefits as well as reducing inflammation, such as adding proteins and fatty acids to the skin to make it glowy and healthy. It also contains organic centella asiatica which calms and soothes the skin and organic sunflower seed oil to prevent skin from drying out. It’s a thick, nourishing cream that sinks in well and leaves my skin feeling plumped and smooth. I’ve been waking up in the morning with lovely, hydrated skin and not a dry patch in sight. It has a relaxing fragrance too, which isn’t too strong, so perfect to use at night. I’ve used this in the morning too and it does provide a nice base for make up as well.

My first foray into CHOBS skincare has been a successful one and I’ve been really impressed with these products. I feel like they would be perfect for sensitive skin, as my face has felt really calmed and soothed since using these. I actually had a couple of flare ups on my cheeks a couple of weeks ago and these products did a great job at calming the red, sore skin. I’d definitely recommend looking into CHOBS if you’re after some great natural and cruelty free skincare.
