Love Lula Beauty Box – June Review / AD

Love Lula Beauty Box June

This post contains gifted items from Love Lula which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

This month’s Love Lula Beauty Box * was a cracker! I was surprised by just how excited I was to try everything in this box and this has definitely been my favourite box so far! If you read my last beauty box reviews then you’ll know that I was itching to try some more makeup in the boxes this year and Love Lula have really pulled it out the bag this month.

NATorigin Lengthening Masacara in Black – £15.95

I don’t know why I never got around to trying this mascara before. Although I don’t think I’ve tried anything by NatOrigin before. This mascara is great and might be one of the best green beauty mascaras I’ve used. It gives big, full lashes within 2 coats and I was very surprised. I love volume with my lashes and this definitely gives that! It didn’t smudge throughout the day and was also pretty easy to remove with micellar water too. I’ve not heard many people talk about this mascara before and it seems so underrated.

NATorigin Pencil Eyeliner in Black – £7.95

This is another win for me. I find that this is a true black and stays black all day long. It lasts a full day without fading or slipping, even when I’ve smudged it out. Most pencil eyeliners I find fade to a grey colour throughout the day, but not this one. It doesn’t last as long on the waterline, but I’m still to find a pencil eyeliner that does to be honest. I’d definitely recommend this if you like dramatic eyes but want to stick with natural products.

Ayumi Intensive Hair Conditioning Treatment – £8.99

I’ve only managed to use this twice so far, but first impressions are good. It did make my hair really soft and easier to brush through once I’d gotten out the shower and having bleached hair means that you can never have too many conditioners and masks. This one made my hair sleeker and less frizzy when dry and it did feel in better condition afterwards too. I don’t usually get on well with natural haircare but this one may be winning me over.

FOM London Skincare Anti – Pollution Hydra Plump Serum – £46.00

I’ve tried a couple of products from FOM London before and enjoyed them. The only thing I don’t like about them is the price, so it’s great when you get to test the product out first to see if it suits you. Unfortunately I haven’t been getting on with this one as well as I did their other products. I found that it hasn’t had much of an effect on my skin other than drying it out. It’s meant to be for plumping but I haven’t had that at all and I find that it doesn’t apply very well either – it sort of drags onto the skin instead of being smooth.

Madara Sun20 Weightless Sun Milk Sample – £22.95

A sample sachet. I shall say no more as you can read my thoughts on sample sachets in my last Beauty Box Posts!

I LOVED this box! I think it’s the best box that Love Lula have put out this year in fact. I’m loving seeing more variety in the boxes and more make up this year and I really feel that Love Lula are making an effort to mix the products and brands up, which is brilliant. I love a good variety in beauty boxes, as to me that’s the whole point – trying new and different products. You can subscribe to the Love Lula beauty box here for £14.95 a month.
