Love Lula Beauty Box – October Review / AD

Love Lula Beauty Box October

This post contains gifted items from Love Lula which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

An earlier Love Lula Beauty Box * post from me this month, as this is the last blog post I’ll be publishing before I get married! The big day is on Friday and as we’re going straight on to honeymoon afterwards I won’t be back until the start of November, so I wanted to get this up for you before I went. As I only received the box at the weekend this is very much a first impressions post, as I’ve only tried them once or twice.

Laidbare Pack Your Bags – £7.99

I’ve actually used this before, so this is the one product I can give you a bit more of a review on! I did a full review here, but to sum up I really like this eye cream. It’s lightweight, hydrating and sinks in really quickly so you can use it under make up in the morning, without worrying about your concealer slipping. I’ve got a couple of eye creams on the go right now, so I’ll save this until they’ve ran out.

Seascape Island Apothecary Uplift Body Lotion – £16.00

I’ve tried the Seascape Body Lotion in Refresh before and I really love that product, so I have high hopes for this one. I used it on Sunday night and so far it seems pretty similar to the Refresh one, but this one has eucalyptus, lime and lavender in it to stimulate the senses. I can imagine this will be great for using in the morning to perk you up before you start your day.

Balmond’s Intensive Facial Oil – £22.00

I only used this on a tiny bit of my cheek at the weekend, as I don’t want to risk upsetting my skin before Friday (although I think the stress might be getting to it anyway, as I currently have a bit of a breakout ☹ ). On the bit I did try though it seems like a really nice oil. It’s a pretty thick oil and it leaves a lovely glow to the skin.

It sunk in well, but did take a little longer than some other oils I have, so I’ll probably save this for nighttime use. It smells of rosehip and lavender too, so another reason to use this before bed. It made my skin feel very soft and nourished after and it didn’t feel too oily either. I do love the packaging of this too – it looks super pretty and luxurious.

Dr Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask – £9.90

As above I’ve only used this on a small bit of my face so far. It’s not as thick as I thought it would be for a mask and it rubs in pretty much straight away, which surprised me – I’d rather my masks be thicker and leave a small layer on top of the skin instead of sinking all the way in. In fact, I couldn’t even tell I had anything on my skin after applying this and I’m not sure that I’ll get on with this. I’ll try it out more when I’m back but this is one I’m not feeling the love for straight away unfortunately.

Samples – Enough said about these!

Another lovely box from Love Lula this month. Of all the products there was only 1 that I wasn’t keen on and the others all look like amazing products. I can’t wait to dive in to them all and give them a proper test once I’m back off honeymoon. You can order the Love Lula Beauty Box Subscription here.

There will be a break in normal posting on this blog now until November, while I go and get married!! I’ll speak to you all on the other side when I’ll be a Mrs 😊 Have a great few weeks.

Kayleigh x
