Love Lula Beauty Box – November Review / AD

Love Lula Beauty Box November

This post contains gifted items from Love Lula which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

It’s that time of month again and we’ve now reached the penultimate Love Lula Beauty Box * of the year. I do enjoy getting these boxes throughout the year and it’s a lovely little surprise through the door each month.

Ayumi Coconut Enriched Hair Oil – £7.99

I love a good hair oil. Since going from orange hair to blonde, my hair has taken a good bit of bleaching over the last few months. We were against time to get it blonde for the wedding, so a lot of bleaching and toning happened which means I need to take extra special care of my hair now. (It was all worth it though as my hair colour was perfect 😊). Hence, why hair oils are a must in my routine. I usually prefer lightweight ones that I can spray onto my hair and not have to get my hands messy, but I do make exceptions for great ones!

This one is really nice. It’s really nourishing and it’s not too sticky either, so doesn’t weight the hair down. It makes my hair really soft and conditioned. I was also really impressed with the size of this for the price. I think this might be the biggest bottle of hair oil I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t believe it was only £7.99. Such a bargain!

Ooh! – Oils of Heaven Organic Apricot Revitalising Face Oil – £19.00

I must admit that I’m kind of getting a little bit fed up with seeing these oils in the monthly boxes. They’re nice oils and this one is also really lovely, but I’d just like to try some other brands. Of all the brands that Love Lula stock, I’m sure there must be some other ones that will provide products for a box.

Anyway this oil is nice and it’s another option that’s good for this time of year, as most peoples skin will need the extra hydration. It smells particularly lovely and it’s nice to use before bed so that the scent helps you to drift off. I’ve used it a couple of times at night and I’ve always woken up to soft skin in the morning.

Nature’s Kitchen Kiwi, Apple & Cucumber Skin Soothing Face Wash – £10.99

I’ve not tried a lot from Nature’s Kitchen before so was excited to see this in the box. I’m always a bit underwhelmed by face washes for some reason (I don’t know why, it’s just the way I feel about them!) but I gave this one a go anyway. And I’m glad I did, as I really like this. My favourite part is the uplifting smell that help to wake me up in the morning or revive me after a hard gym session.

It’s silky texture is a dream to use and I like to spend a good couple of minutes massaging it into my face before taking it ff with a flannel. I’ve only used this a couple of times so far, so can’t comment on the long term effects on my skin but it’s a lovely face wash and I’d recommend trying it out.

Madara Hemp Hemp Lip Conditioning Balm – £10.00

I was excited to see this in this month’s box, as the last Madara lip balm we had was amazing! This was is equally as good too. It’s a clear balm that leaves my lips feeling soft and nourished. This is great for this month’s box as the cold weather has really settled in here in the UK now and a good lip balm is a must. Your lips take the worst of the cold weather as they’re nearly always exposed so it’s super important for them to be looked after. This balm is a great option for that!

I don’t think I’m going to even acknowledge the samples in these boxes anymore as you’ll know my feelings towards these by now. So that’s November’s Love Lula Beauty Box. A good mix of products that have definitely been curated with the time of year in mind. It’s nice when companies take things like that into account.

All in all a pretty good box this month and I’m glad that I’ve go some new products to keep me going through the winter. If you’re looking for something different as a Christmas gift this year why not pick up a 3 month or 6 month subscription for someone. It would be a bit of a different gift and it would keep on giving for a few months after Christmas too!
