Love Lula Beauty Box – December Review / AD

This post contains gifted items from Love Lula which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

I can’t believe how fast the year goes by now! Every time I sit down to write one of these it makes me wonder how fast we got here. Now it’s December and we’re on the last Love Lula Beauty Box * of the year! Luckily they’ve ended on a high and this month’s box is a good one. I’m doing this review quite quickly after receiving the box this month so it’s another first impressions post today. So on to what’s in it and the last BB review of the year!

Nature’s Kitchen Dark Chocolate Fudge Cleansing Butter Face Mask

I’ve only used this once so far, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This is my first time trying a Nature’s Kitchen Face Mask and I’m very impressed. First of all I have to say that it smells amazing. It’s chocolatey and indulgent and I could just sit and sniff it all day to be honest! It has a balmy consistency, which makes it nice and easy to apply – it’s a bit thicker so it won’t run down your face when on either.

After removing it my face feels so soft! It’s meant to draw out impurities and give a good deep cleanse to the skin and my face did look a lot brighter immediately afterwards. I’d still need to use it a bit more though to see if this effect lasts with long term use. The immediate results are really good though and I can see me using this before a night out or event, when I want to give my skin a boost to look it’s best.

Natura Siberica Rich Siberian White Body Butter – £5.25

I’ve been trying to use more body lotion lately, as the cold weather really affects my skin. I have quite dry skin on my body anyway and I should definitely use body creams more than I do! This has been a nice little product for me and I’ve been enjoying using it. I actually picked myself up another body cream just before this arrived so I’ve been alternating the two and it’s been doing wonders for my skin!

The scent of this is really pleasant and I like that it’s subtle too. If products are too strong then it puts me off using them, but this one is just enough without being over powering. It leaves a slight tacky feeling on my skin unfortunately which isn’t ideal but it just means that I’ll stick to using this at night before bed. It’s also really cheap too!

Walden ‘Live The Life’ Natural Perfume – £17.00

I have a few Walden perfumes now and always welcome a new addition. They last a pretty long time on the skin, and I actually prefer the roller balls to the spray as they last longer on me. They still don’t last as long as a conventional perfume, but that’s to be expected. This one has an earthy scent to it that smells great on the skin.

The roller ball is so great for travelling and taking out and about with you. I always struggle with perfume as I don’t want to lug a massive bottle around with me when I travel – or even on a night out – and these are the perfect solution to that!

Balm Balm Frankincense Cleansing Balm Cleanser – £9.50

I have a few cleansers open at the moment, so I haven’t tried this yet. I’m trying to finish up the ones I have before opening anything new. But I have had this before a couple of years ago and from what I remember it’s a great little balm cleanser. It removed make up brilliantly and left my skin clean and bright.

This month’s box is worth over £47.00 and such a bargain. These boxes are such a great way to try new products and brands and I thoroughly enjoy getting them every month. I’d definitely recommend subscribing and you can save money if you buy months in bulk too. I’m really excited to see what Love Lula will offer in next years boxes now!
