This month from Love Lula I picked up two products from Mossa. I’ve had a couple of their products before and as I needed a new micellar water but didn’t want to pay over £20 for the Ere Perez one, I settled for one of theirs. I thought I’d try something else too and while looking around I saw a nice looking eye cream. I really like trying new things from brands, so was really excited to give these a go. I’ve only been using them for a couple of weeks, so these are first impressions for now.
This is marketed as a cleanser, toner and moisturiser for only £11.00 and is a great product. Personally I only use it as a cleanser and I wouldn’t recommend using just this as a toner and moisturiser too, as it’s not enough for your skin. However, I do love this as a micellar water. The first thing is it smells amazing! Like fruity raspberry and has a nice sweet smell to it – not in an overly sickly way though. It’s a really refreshing micellar water that really wakes my skin up. I’ve taken to using this in the morning as my first cleanse and it feels so nice and soothing. It’s really gentle and a pleasure to use.
I’ve used this to remove make up in the evening too and it does the job brilliantly. Sometimes I still have a bit of panda eyes after I’ve done my second cleanse, but I get this with most micellar waters tbh. At the moment I prefer to use a Superdrug oil in water cleanser to remove make up, so I’ve kept this one exclusively for my morning routine.
Mossa Youth Defence Restoring Eye Cream * – £13.00
I love this so much more than I imagined to be honest. I’ve been really getting into my eye care over the last couple of years, as I feel like I’m getting to that age where it’s really important! I don’t like anything too heavy around my eyes, so a cream is the best thing for me, especially in the morning. I don’t mind a heavier balm or oil at night so it can sink in but for under make up it has to be a cream.
This one is really lovely – one of the best I’ve tried so far! It sinks in quickly, isn’t greasy and doesn’t make my make up sit in the fine lines around my eyes either. It smells lovely and the blackberry really helps to hydrate and firm the under eye area, which I can see working already.
One more thing I love about these products is the clean, simple packaging. They look like high end products, but for a fraction of the price – which Mossa is a great brand for. I definitely feel like they’re such an underrated brand and more people should be yelling about them! I’ll be picking more of their products up for sure.
