This post contains gifted items from Botanicals which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
A couple of months ago I received an email about trying out something from Botanicals. I looked through their website and was drawn to the Pro Balance Radiance Serum * as I’m lacking in the serum department at the moment and I’ve been really trying to inject some more nourishment into my skin.
I’ve tried some Botanicals products before (reviews here, here, here, here and here) and have always liked their products. They’re all natural and organic and they’re all handmade in England. All their products are 100% vegan, cruelty free and made from sustainably sourced ingredients.
I love the packaging of Botanicals products. They’re always so luxurious and have an elegant look about them. This has the loveliest shade of peach on the label and I love that they put on the front that it’s certified organic by the Soil Association, so it’s easy for people to see. Many people look for organic products these days and it’s great to have it as clear as possible.
I’ve been using this for way over a month now and I’ve seen great improvement in my skin. I had a breakout when I first started using this, but it was also my time of the month and my skin always breaks out then. So I stuck with it and kept using it daily and once my skin had calmed down after my period, I found that this helped amazingly with post breakout scarring. My blemishes calmed down much quicker than usual and the redness was kept at bay so they didn’t look really angry. I assume it was the Organic Mandarin Essential Oil and the Organic Chamomile Essential Oil that helped with this.
The rest of my face also really appreciated this serum. It’s more radiant and brighter when I use this due to the Organic Avocado Oil, which helps to promote cell growth and increase the amount of collagen in the skin. It evens out skin tone and helps to calm redness, while also being anti-ageing. I can’t say I’ve noticed too much in the anti-ageing department, but I always think this is a hard thing to prove in skincare anyway as it’s something you can’t see. In fact this is the one thing where if you do see a difference then it’s definitely not helping!
At only £30 for 30ml this serum is a bargain. For something that is made from natural and organic ingredients and is great for your skin then I’d expect a much higher price tag. If you’re after a hydrating but non greasy serum that will give you nourished and hydrated skin, then this is the product you’ve been looking for.
