Antipodes Skin-Brightening Manuka Honey Beehive Box Set / AD

This post contains gifted items from Antipodes which have been marked with *. The company have provided them for review but have not had any control of this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

Now that the winter is starting to set in and the colder weather is arriving, it’s time to up our skincare regimes. Cold air and central heating can play havoc on our skin and now’s the time it needs some extra attention.

The last couple of months I’ve been testing out the Manuka Honey Range from Antipodes and it’s perfect for the change in weather. Manuka Honey draws moisture to your skin to hydrate it, while acting as an anti-wrinkle agent and also having anti-bacterial properties. Manuka Honey is a lovely skincare ingredient and I find that my skin loves it.

I was very lucky to be sent the Skin-Brightening Manuka Honey Beehive Box Set * to try out, which includes the Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Light Day Cream, Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream and Aura Manuka Honey Mask. This set is usually only for influencers, but Antipodes have made a limited amount available to customers too, so go grab one while they’re in stock!

I’ve reviewed the Aura Manuka Honey Mask * before here, so you can pop over there to read my full thoughts. In short though I love this mask! I’ve used it loads over the past few years and it never fails to hydrate and nourish my skin. I use it at night and leave it on as an intense night cream and my skin always looks glowy and smooth in the morning.

The Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Light Day Cream * is a new addition to my routine but one that I’ve been very grateful for. I’ve been using this every morning for a few weeks now and am obsessed. It smells amazing to start with and makes my morning routine so enjoyable. It nourishes my skin, without feeling greasy and sinks in really easily. It’s not thick but is really good at moisturising the skin and it hasn’t broken me out like some intensely nourishing creams can. This is where the inclusion of the honey is great because it helps blemishes to heal and doesn’t create any new ones. The inclusion of Vinanza Grape & Kiwi give the skin a brightening effect which you can see within just a few uses to create a lovely glow. Overall a brilliant day cream that would be suitable for most skin types, including oily as it’s so lightweight.

The Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream * is the star of the show for me. I struggle to find good eye creams, as they tend to sink into the skin around my eyes and settle into any fine lines. I don’t really have lines around my eyes, but some eye creams seem to create them for me! Then when I wear make up the makeup sits in the lines and it’s horrible. This eye cream however doesn’t do that. It moisturises my eye area and doesn’t feel greasy, but it does feel plump and smooth which is perfect for me. I don’t have really dark eye circles but even so I’ve seen a small improvement in the brightness of mine when using this. Antipodes do the best eye creams for me and I will always recommend them!

Antipodes are a favourite brand of mine and my skin loves their products. This set * is one of the best sets to get an all round feel for the brand and you save money by buying them all together too. Their Manuka Honey products are probably my favourite range from them as they’re suitable to all skin types and such gentle products. Natural products are my jam right now and Antipodes use the best ingredients in their skincare, so go give them a browse and let me know if you try any of the products 🙂
