Therapi Honey Skincare are a beautiful brand that has been on my radar for quite a while. They create natural and organic honey skincare products that not only benefit customers but are also gentle to the natural world too. They make all of their products in house and do not use any pre-made bases. Their products contain up to 99% organically certified ingredients and they donate 5% of their profits to bee conservation projects. They’re also Soil Association certified.
I was super lucky to be sent a range of their products at the end of last year and now I’ve tested them out for a few weeks I wanted to share my findings with you all. I spoke to the lovely Tanya and told her about my skin and she sent me a gorgeous box of goodies to try out that were tailored to me. I did a little unboxing over on my Instagram showing the gorgeous packaging – you can see that here. I’ve put my thoughts below about each product, but I’ve been really impressed with all the Therapi Honey Skincare products. Using them all together had a brilliant effect on my skin and my skin looked clear and healthy.
Orange Blossom Honey Gel Cleanser * – £25.50
This might be my favourite product of them all. This cleanser includes honey (of course), orange blossom and lavender. It’s a gel cleanser which means it feels glorious on the skin – it smooths over the face and makes me feel as if I’m in a spa! It’s such a high quality cleanser and really works to clean skin without stripping it. The honey means it’s anti inflammatory so is perfect at soothing any breakouts and creates the smoothest skin. I always have soft skin when using this which is a perfect base for the rest on my routine.
Lemon Myrtle Anti-Bacterial Toner * – £25.50
This was a nice toner. I find toners are the hardest products to really see a difference with but put this with the other products and it contributed to a great routine. I use this morning and night after cleansing and it’s a lovely spray. I love the distribution of the nozzle – it’s gives a nice mist on the face instead of a harsh spritz. It does seem to settle any redness; I think that’s due to the anti-bacterial properties. It also smells incredible, like lemon sherbert!
Lemon Myrtle Honey Moisturiser * – £32.00
I liked the effect this had on my skin but it was a little bit of a strange texture for me. It separates easily and a couple of times when I opened it there was a pool of liquid on the top of the cream. It’s not a huge deal as I just mixed it in again but it made the texture a bit thick and not as smooth as I hoped. However once on the skin it nourishes amazingly. My skin was really supple when I was using this and I only had a couple of spots pop up, which was probably due to the Christmas indulgence! It leaves skin matte, but still healthy looking leaving a great base for makeup.
I actually preferred this to the Lemon Myrtle Honey Moisturiser as I felt it had a better texture – it’s smoother and is more of a joy to apply. I also did notice that it had a more brightening effect to it and made my skin instantly glow. You guys know I love a good glow! You can also use this as a leave on mask and I saw a lovely improvement to the smoothness of my skin when I did this overnight.
Overall I was very impressed with Therapi Honey Skincare as a brand. They have great company ethics and beautiful products too. I’d definitely recommend the Orange Blossom Honey Gel Cleanser and the Rose Otto Propolis Ultra Radiance Cream and some of their other products look great too. I love how they all complimented each other and created such a gorgeous routine. You can find them here and their website is super easy to navigate, as they have sections for each product and tell you what product you should buy depending on your skin type.
Thank you very much Therapi Honey Skincare. I’ll definitely be repurchasing my favourites when they run out!
