I thought I’d do a bit of a different post today. I’ve really been trying to get back into my witchcraft lately and doing small things each day is the perfect way to do that. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to do big things, like rituals and spells, so by adding in small things every day it feels much easier to keep up. I’ve put together 5 things that you can easily add into your every day routine.
1.Daily Card Reading
One of the easiest ways to add some witchcraft into your every day life is to do a daily card pull. It can be with tarot cards or oracle cards or even plain playing cards if you prefer. Pulling one card in the morning can really set your intentions for the day. I find that whatever my card says in the morning I find myself relating to it all day when doing other things.
2. Stir your morning drink with intention
When making your morning cup of tea or coffee you can use the below methods to bring what you want to your day. Stir right for positivity, left for banishment and a pentagram shape to bring more magick to your day.
Crystals healing always makes me feel more grounded. I don’t do this every day but when I feel like I need a pick me up I pick out the crystal I need and I spend a couple of minutes meditating with it. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant – just a couple of quiet minutes with the crystal channeling your thoughts and feeling the vibrations of the crystal.
Which leads me to my next point of meditation. I’m still getting into the habit of doing this but I try to do it at night just before bed to clear my mind. I sit on my bed, close my eyes and try to clear my head. The key is not to get stressed if you can’t clear your head, but to let the thoughts flow through your mind and then let them go. Just 5 minutes a day can make a world of difference.
These are just a few easy ways to feel more connected to your magic and incorporate it into your everyday. Doing spells and rituals are a great part of witchcraft but sometimes you just want to feel connected quickly and don’t have the time to prepare for big things, so these are perfect for that.
